Di service
Ajiye dey make business create invoice for WhatsApp, collect payment through payment company wey get licence, see each payment as dat payment company don confam am, and keep record of im work wey dem don confam, plus web dashboard to see and manage everything.
Ajiye na for businesses and dia owners for Nigeria wey don reach 18 years or pass. For dis test time (pilot), na only pipo wey we invite fit use di service, and e fit change as we dey learn; we go tell you for WhatsApp bifor any change wey go affect how you dey use am.
How we dey deliver di service
Everything dey come electronically and straight away: invoices, payment instructions and payment confam dey enter your WhatsApp chat, we dey also send invoices as PDF files, and your records dey for di dashboard. Nothing physical dey come.
Wetin we no dey do
We no dey hold your money, we no dey gather am with oda pipo money, and we no dey move am: payments dey go straight from di payment company to your bank account. We no dey lend money, and we no dey rate whether anybody fit pay back money. Nothing for Ajiye na advice about law, tax or money.
Fees
Ajiye no get subscription and no get fee to start. Payment charges dey only on payment wey customer pay you through Ajiye: dem go add to wetin di customer go pay, di invoice go show dem as “Payment charges”, and you go collect your full price. Payment wey you record yourself, like cash or transfer wey come straight to you, no get any charges.
Di payment charges na di fee of di payment company and our own fee, and we dey calculate both on your price. Di payment company fee follow di prices wey Paystack publish: 1.5% + ₦100, and e no go pass ₦2,000 for one payment. Payment wey no reach ₦2,500 no get any charges: na we go pay di payment company fee for dem.
Our own fee na half of di payment company fee on your price: 0.75% + ₦50, and e no go pass ₦1,000. Di payment company dey calculate im fee on wetin your customer pay, wey pass your price small; na we go cover dat difference from our fee, so you go always collect your full price. We fit stop to collect our own fee for some time; di pricing page for our website dey show if we dey collect am now.
We go tell you bifor any fee change, or bifor di time wey we no dey collect our own fee end, and when di change go start; if you no want, you fit stop to use Ajiye.
Na our payment company, Paystack, dey process payments, under im own terms. Payment go show as confam when di payment company confam am; di money go reach your bank account according to di time wey di payment company dey take send money (settlement schedule).
Refund and cancel
If we collect fee by mistake, we go refund you di full money.
Payments wey your customers make na for your goods or services, and di money dey go to you, no be to us. If customer suppose collect refund, you and di customer go agree am and you go pay am back direct; then you fit cancel di invoice for Ajiye or issue credit note (paper wey show say you don reduce or return money), wey go keep your record correct.
You fit stop to use Ajiye any time; no contract period dey and nothing dey to cancel. To close your account and delete your details, check di privacy notice.
WhatsApp messages
If you start di conversation and accept dis terms, you gree to receive messages from Ajiye for WhatsApp about your account, invoices and payments. Reply STOP any time to stop dem, and START to receive dem again. WhatsApp own terms also dey cover how you dey use WhatsApp.
Wetin you suppose do
Give correct details of your business and your bank. Send invoice only for real work, and only to pipo wey dey expect am. Keep your WhatsApp account safe: anybody wey enter am fit enter your Ajiye account. Record cash or payment wey come straight to you with truth; we go show dem as “na you record am”.
No use Ajiye for anything wey dey against di law, wey be fraud or wey dey deceive pipo, to send messages wey pipo no want, or to try spoil or misuse di service.
Your record
Your invoices and your track record na your own. You fit export dem any time, and close your account any time wey you want.
To block account
We fit suspend (block for some time) or close account wey pesin use do fraud, break di law or break dis terms, and we go tell you why unless di law no allow us.
If di service no work, and who go answer for loss
We dey work make Ajiye dey available and correct, but we no fit promise say e go always work without stop or without mistake, and we depend on WhatsApp, di payment company and banks, wey we no control.
As far as di law allow, we no go answer for losses wey no come direct, or for losses wey dose oda companies cause. Nothing for dis terms dey reduce di rights wey you get under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Changes to dis terms
If we change dis terms for way wey matter, we go tell you for WhatsApp bifor di change start to work. Di date for di top of dis page dey show when dem last change.
Law and complaints
