Why Ajiye exists

Across Nigeria, skilled people do excellent work every day — and are paid in ways that leave no trail anyone else can trust. Without that trail, banks and bigger clients can't see what customers already know.

Ajiye is being built to fix the proof, not the people. Invoices go out on the app artisans already use; payments are confirmed by the processor; and each confirmed job becomes part of a record the artisan owns.

We are in a small pilot with artisans in a handful of trades. We'll share what we learn, including what doesn't work.
